UPC Announces Training for Current Web Ticket Entry Personnel:
Learning EDEN
New to web ticket entry?

November 7, 2008 – Excavation Digging
Event Notification, EDEN, has been successfully implemented at the Utilities
Protection Center, Inc. (UPC) call center. It is now time to convert all web
ticket entry accounts from IRTH to EDEN. A one-hour training course has been
created to teach the differences between the two systems. Classes for current
users will be offered from Monday, November 3 thru Friday December 12, 2008.
Morning classes will begin at 10 am and the afternoon class will begin at 2 pm
daily, with the exception of Wednesday’s. The Wednesday morning class is for new
users only.
Registration for current users, those who currently enter locate requests
online, should be done online at http://www.gaupc.com/edu_web_entry.asp.
Select the class that best fits your schedule and
proceed with registration. Be sure to provide a valid email address during
registration.
Currently, all classes listed on the website will be conducted as a webinar.
You will need a good internet connection for the visual portion of the class and
a phone connection for the audio. Anyone with a group of people who need
training and would prefer an in-person 2-hour training course should contact
Mike Joyner at mjoyner@gaupc.com
for instructor availability.
New users, those who do not currently enter locate requests online should
register for the new user’s Webinar class that is being offered each Wednesday
from 10 am – 12 noon. Registration for the new users’ class should be done at
http://www.gaupc.com/edu_web_entry.asp.
Select the class that best fits your schedule and
proceed with registration. Be sure to enter a valid email address.
All classes will close 48 hours before class date to allow the instructor
time to send you the information needed to join the webinar.
